Hormonal imbalance is one of the many causes of female infertility. Hormones are the chemical messengers that send signals to the organs of the body, this signal affects how the cells and organs of the body work.

Studies have shown that there are over 50 hormones in the human body. While hormone levels change throughout your lifetime naturally as a result of aging and other factors, when the change occurs as a result of hormones sending the wrong signals to your endocrine glands, this occurrence is called hormonal imbalance.

In women, hormonal imbalance often affects the estrogen and progesterone levels.
